It is a non-invasive method providing negative pressure application on the wound in a controlled way in order to speed up the healing process of the acute and chronic wounds, the therapy method is based on covering the wound area in a sterile way and applying continuous or inturrepted negative pressure on the wound.
The aim therapy is cleaning the wound from the edema liquid by appliying negative pressure to the wound bed and stimulating th cellular proliferation and granulation and controlling the bacterial colonization.
Exsudex Usage Indications
- • Preparing the wound bed for therapy,
- • Decreasing edema
- • Supporting granulation tissue formation and perfusion
- • Preparing the atmosphere for encouraging wound healing to remove the exudate and infected materials
- • Indıcated for the patients with cronic acuate traumatic sub-acute and open wounds, ulcer (caused by diabetic or pressure) and flap or graft.
Exsudex Contraindications
- • Malignity in wound
- • Non-entericand unexamined fistulas,
- • Untreated osteomyelitis,
- • Can be used after the debridement of the scar tissue for the necrotic tissue with scar tissue.
- • Not to diresctly contact with the exposed blood veins, anastomotic regions, organs and nerves.
